I humbly submit munkie's internet: One of these days I plan on setting up a table in a datacenter with a full gigabit line to my pc and playing all day. Once on a job site I plugged in and downloaded a ton of cd iso files in a matter of minutes. Typically you're limited by the upload speed of the host so the high bandwidth allows for simultaneous downloads without bogging any of them down really.

I opted with verizon fios to get the higher upload speed because I was getting more done. Using the admin server in the datacenter and my own home pc I was able to install an OS on 3 servers at the same time and perform diags on more servers and also look up a ton of documentation. I never slowed down. I don't need that much speed anymore but it's just a $5/mo reduction in price if I were to drop down to 15/5.
