It's a FPS game that has a lot of strategy involved. This game has a commander mode like BF2 built into it. All of the aliens are controller buy players. It's aliens Vs. Marines.

The tech of the marines base keeps upgrading until they have super weapons. The aliens upgrade and expand until they get super aliens. As the aliens territory (hive) expands, the ground starts to become covered in moss like foliage. It's really cool.
