Nvidia just announced a new graphics card. It's the successor to the gtx 690: The GTX Titan Z. It has two GK110 Titan chips (each with 2880 cores) on one PCB along with 12 GB of memory. It will only cost $3000. They announced this card shortly after announcing their next gen process dubbed Pascal. Read more details HERE on AnandTech where it's the same thing as two GTX titan Black GPUs but with a lower gpu clock. This breaks the usual trend with the dual gpu cards having a lower core count than the latest flagship at the time but keeps in line with being underclocked to avoid going out of sync.
We shall see how they do with gaming. The last titan was an amazing card but was designed for 3D rendering. Along with video and image processing.
